Education

Education has always been an important part of life in Hellenic (Greek) Culture.  Keeping to that tradition, the youth is offered “Greek School” to learn the language and culture of Greece as well as Religious Education which is an immersion one evening a week into the Orthodox Faith.

Education does not stop in youth.  A Greek language class is also offered for adults wishing to learn the language as well as weekly Bible Study, and occasional Q&A panels with a variety of local religious leaders on a range of topics.

Hello, I attend St. Mary Magdalene in Fenton. I was interested in learning Greek for my personal studies. I know you have a class that just started but money is tight with Christmas coming. Do you offer this course year round and if so when does the next session start? Thank you.

I have a 14 year old son who is interested in attending Church. How would we begin this journey? Should we start by attending services as a family or start with some type of education?
